I spied this, one of Jackie’s school assignments, on the counter during a recent visit to Juliet’s, and snapped the photo. I couldn’t resist.
Jackie’s in the first grade and the topic was poetry. The teacher started them off with her sample and format, underlining the text that they should provide in the two stanzas that followed.
It is twilight.
The big full moon is above
the quiet school.
The moon sees fun games not being played.
It is midnight.
The dim silver moon is next to
the street.
The moon sees quiet streets.
The new day will start at 12:00.

What the Moon Sees – my next knit design underway, coming soon.
